Earl Jarrett, CD, Hon. LL.D, JP
A chartered account by profession, Mr. Jarrett is a member of several private and public sector boards in Jamaica, the Caribbean region and internationally, including Chairman of the Caribbean Association of Housing Finance Institutions;
Mary Smith, MSc, JP
Mary Smith’s career spans several years in the finance industry in both the private and public sectors. She was employed as a senior economist with the country’s central bank, the Bank of Jamaica, and also the Ministry of Construction (now the Ministry of Transport and Works).
With a career spanning more than two decades in the micro-finance sector, Frank Whylie has been a member of the JN Small Business Loans team since 2000, when he joined the company as General Manager.
Karene Miller joined the Jamaica National Building Society in June 2013, as Corporate Secretary, providing corporate secretarial services, legal advice and support to assigned entities within the JN Group. She was previously employed as Corporate Secretary/Legal Officer at JAMPRO, where she served seven years and was responsible to provide support, legal advice and research.
Cosma Earle is currently Chairman of the Silver Sands Cottage Owners Association. His professional career has included managing electronic data processing activities at AT&T in the United States.
Gillian Hyde was appointed General Manager of JN Small Business Loans in January 2015. Prior to her transition to JNSBL, Mrs. Hyde was Executive for the Enterprise Contact Centre, and Member Ombudsman at JNBS. In that role she was charged with the responsibility of delivering an outstanding customer experience through all channels within the established standards of quality and served as the ISO 9001:2008 Management Representative.
A chartered accountant, Mr. Clarke is Chairman and former Managing Director of one of the island’s leading media groups, The Gleaner Company Limited, and a past president of both the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica and The Inter American Press Association.
